The Asia Data Office is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team to support our regional partners. If you have passion for data and a desire to drive quality data solutions within a data driven culture, then read on to learn more about this opportunity!

We are looking for the right individual who would be interested and enjoy the opportunity to design data/BI solutions, strong willingness to learn and build data skills through team collaboration, desire to drive and execute on our data strategy, willing to help mature our agile practices, and is looking for an opportunity to embrace technical, operational and informal leadership roles on the team.

Duties

?Support business users in developing business requirements

?Lead/Support discovery sessions

?Gather, document, analyse and prioritize business needs

?Document in various formats, including:

?Business requirements document

?Data mapping

?Use cases

?Process maps

?Translate user needs into clear, deliverable requirements

?Identify opportunities to ensure consistency in solution delivery to multiple partners

?Support other key functions:

?Functional, integration and user acceptance testing

?Training

?Implementation

?Warranty / project closure

?“Lights on” operational tasks

?Collaborate with team leads within ADO to ensure standards are met

?Design operational processes

?Support on testing with the Test Manager

?Data analysis

?Develop and write basic queries

?Analyze and understand extracted data

?Use data to inform requirements and final solution designs

Qualifications

Skills

?Data Structured design, or Data Solutioning

?Experience with Agile methods

?Exposure to cloud computing technology

?Experience with Big Data platforms

?Experience integrating with vendor application

?Experience with operational design and management

?Passionate about data and technology

?Passionate about embracing and driving forward a “team first” culture

Education and experience

?Bachelor's degree preferably in Operations Management, Business or Data/Engineering related courses

?Recognized qualification in Project Management helpful

?ITIL certification helpful

?3+ years in one or more of the following

oBusiness analysis

oProcess analysis

oData analysis

oOperations supervisory/management

?Project management experience is an advantage

?Understanding of the insurance and/or financial industry is an asset
