BNP Paribas has engaged on a transformation of Group Finance operating model and decided to create Group Finance Services (GFS) in Portugal, as a response to an increase in regulatory evolutions. GFS is a reporting and servicing centre, which covers a broad range of Finance activities for Group Finance and other métiers and entities within BNP Paribas worldwide.
Launched in 2016, GFS has quickly become a reference in the field, thanks to the expertise developed. It aims at further establishing itself as a front line player by leading the way to innovation in financial services methodologies.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Within Group Finance, Finance Solutions and Services is responsible for evolutions and maintenance of Group financial systems. Capital Reporting Solutions Services is in charge of the maintenance in operational conditions and administration of the application ARC (All Reporting on Capital) which collects and aggregates all Capital data.
The team is in charge of three main activities:
Production and maintenance services: Application support to the production of Solvency ratio, COREP and consolidated statements (Pilar 3). Also, administration responsible for ARC application that contributes to the process ICAAP, collect STE, Stress test (etc.).
Access Rights Management
Evolution and release: Set up of regulatory evolutions, implementation of new functionalities, optimization of the application
As a Capital Reporting Solutions Business Analyst, your key tasks are to:
Manage and control user administration and assist user during closing period;
Ensure production back-up;
Perform non-regression testing;
Ensure quarterly production closing (produce reports, consolidated statements etc.);
Understand and analyze regulations relating to solvency ratio, COREP, and Pilar 3 to address users’ needs;
Participate to implementation projects (regulatory evolution, new functionalities, optimization);
Contribute to the Data Quality program by applying Quality & integrity criteria to his/her perimeter/scope of responsibility;
SKILLS
Master’s degree or equivalent by experience in Finance/IT
Up to 3 years of relevant experience as business analyst in Finance or tools administration (management control, finance department)
Knowledge in finance and management control is mandatory
Knowledge in risks and solvency is a plus
Experience in system administration is a plus
Knowledge of VBA is a plus
Experience of reporting tool (eg. Business Object) is a plus
Previous Banking experience is a plus
Proficient in Excel
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Ability to work in a fast changing environment and willing to work with international locations
Availability and customer orientation skills
Ability to report
Rigour & Accuracy
Strong team spirit, Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Knowledge of foreign languages : English (B2 Level, CECRL certificate), French (A1/A2 Level, CECRL certificate)
