Business Club Analyst

Bentonville, AR or Franklin, TN

This role provides a hands-on opportunity to be a critical part of the Club and AO team. The ideal candidate is action oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work. Key responsibilities include managing  business tracking, Nielsen and database reporting, item maintenance and Compass/Deductions ownership.  Not only does the opportunity provide wide-ranging responsibilities and learning opportunities, but we are looking for someone ready to start the future of their career at Mars.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree program in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Nielsen, Excel , and Microsoft Power Point Preferred
• 2 years Business Analytics experience preferably in Sales, Category Management, Operations, and/or Finance

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Produce reports & maintain KPI dashboards to monitor the performance of the account, competitive analysis and promotional analysis along with insights using Nielsen
• Owns business reporting and analysis which includes daily, weekly, period, and quarterly reporting
• Manages collection and distribution of business reporting, which will require coordination among other analysts, cross-functional partners, and account managers
• Analysis should cull data into insights for actionable business decisions
• Daily investigation into anomalies identified through reporting
• Perform ad-hoc deep-dive analysis and work with cross-functional partners to uncover and explain drivers of business performance
• Helps with business reviews, internal and external presentations
• Manages and continuously improves reporting capabilities and tools
• Forecasting and Forecast Reporting aligns with account managers/team lead on total forecast, works with demand planner internally on revisions, identifies forecasting gaps between internal and customer forecast
• New Item Reporting and Forecasting- works with account managers to align on forecast and tracks new item ordering and performance
• Trade Reporting - Manages trade deductions and reconciliation through Compass system, which requires close collaboration with account managers and other team members
• Budget Reporting - collects and categorizes all account spends and reports on budget spend v. plan
