In this role, you have the opportunity to be the Analytical Partner to key stakeholders in the high-growth Service organization. You will deliver insights to explain current performance and develop plans to improve business operations and deliver on performance targets, both operational and financial.
Responsibilities
Conduct the planning, forecasting, and performance analysis of key business functions. Define the key assumptions underpinning the detailed planning and quantify risks & opportunities.
Employ insights and business acumen to influence business performance. Models opportunities to accelerate business performance (growth, cost reduction, asset utilization, etc.)
Utilize problem-solving skills to identify & quantify opportunities to drive productivity, efficiency, and cost out of the organization.
Partner with the business to deliver on improvement targets necessary to achieve business goals.
Engages with the business to transform processes with a focus on eliminating waste and expanding value-added activities.
Leverage best-practices identified in other functions, businesses or global markets to improve business performance.
This is a hands-on role that requires managing several tasks and projects simultaneously and shifting priorities as the demands of the business evolve.
You are a part of
An operations team tasked with providing analysis from data that will include, but not be limited to Work In Progress, Revenue Forecasting, Closing, Annual Operating Plan, and Rolling Forecast (ROFO). Collaboration within the Operations team and outside to other organizations will be essential to success in the role.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
BA/BS degree in an analytical discipline.
8+ years of progressive business or financial analysis experience.
Six Sigma, Lean or other process improvement experience. Adept at implementation of change though effective communication and leadership techniques.
Strong business acumen and political acumen; recognizes organizational and business differences and works to effect alignments. Ability to work effectively in a highly-matrixed environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. The ability to translate data into a visible form that highlights important features including commonalities and anomalies. The visual representations make it easy for users to perceive the salient aspects of their data quickly.
Models understanding of Philips ways of working/values, cultural expectations/norms. Models cross cultural relationship management.
Must be experienced manipulating Excel (Pivot Tables, HLookup, VLookup and/or Macros), experience with Tableau and/or SAP preferred.
