About the role:
The Tester/ IT Business Analyst - Junior will support digital product development/solution design/delivery by understanding the business impact of the requirements & supporting the communication & delivery of requirements. Ensures that our internal and external workflows are fit for purpose & efficient across all systems supporting the critical KPIs driving the success of the business. Also, helps with testing its functionality, so it helps the business and our localization partners establish a successful collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Testing of applications – approx. 60 % of workload - Standard user behavior and use cases, detailed scenarios and background system functionalities, report result, follow bug fixing cycle, communicate with stakeholders
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with the product owner and other team members
- Assist product owner with business analysis & technical documentation, create and maintain comprehensive project test scenarios
- Perform requirement gathering and analysis including current system documentation, business modeling, business process, rules and logic, data gathering to solve complex issues, development of requirements and key analytical troubleshooting
- Writing and reviewing business, user and non-functional/system level requirements in the structured requirements documentation
- Develop and/or review test cases, plans/scenarios and create test data for all the test scenarios to ensure successful delivery of a project
- Execute tests, reports result, follows defect cycle, communicate with stakeholders
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in software tester/business analyst role
- Experience in software testing methodologies
- Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize bugs and new requirements
- Fluent and confident English knowledge, excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deep understanding of complex requirements to find creative solutions
- Knowledge of SQL is an advantage, relevant experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM application or ITIL Foundations certificate is considered a plus
