Business Analyst – Dollar General

Nashville, TN

The Dollar General sales analyst role is responsible for managing our deduction clearance process, maintaining record of distribution and promotional activity, assisting with shipment forecasting, delivering business performance reporting and tracking, creating and maintaining trade spend tactics in the Compass trade management system, and providing analytical support and insights that enable the team to deliver objectives and required KPIs for Mars and DG.  This role is a key component of our Dollar General sales team, with roles and responsibilities that are critical to the proper functioning of our business with Dollar General.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's Degree
• Prior experience in CPG sales and/or analytics preferred.
• 1-2 years prior experience in analytics preferred, but not required.

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Deduction & Dispute Management
• Compass Management
• Reporting/Analytics via 1010/Nielsen
• Item Distribution and Promotional Tracking
• Forecasting
• Internal/External Meeting Support
