• The Business Analyst is responsible for understanding the business needs and analysing, validating and documenting the business and system requirements that address these needs either alone in small to medium size projects; or as lead or a member of a BA team in a large project, and ensures the solutions developed satisfy the needs of the business
• The role assists in designing processes and changes to processes that will be used to implement the business transformation solutions. This is done through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business processes, systems, and industry requirements.
• The Business Analyst applies Design Thinking methodology, empathising with customers to collaborate with global and site digital transformation team to build use cases and drive POC for the site. The business analyst will share good practices in relevant communities of practice, contributing to internal IT processes and standards for business analysis and design.
• In some scenario, the role act as the project manager to leads a project team from initiation to close, to deliver effective solutions that meet approved customer and business needs.  The role are accountable for determining and delivering solutions to approved budget and schedule commitments whilst meeting required quality and compliance standards.  Focus areas include Risk Management and delivery of business benefit. 
• The role holder will act as the Business Analyst for AstraZeneca Taizhou Operations site and cross-site stakeholders within China and AsiaPac Region within Operations IT, covering customers, business processes and systems relating to the delivery of global and local business process and systems within this region
