As a member of the business analytics team, you will:

  • Become a domain expert in your focus areas and conduct rigorous data analysis to help improve customer experiences and identify profitable growth opportunities

  • Design, generate, and communicate analytics reports and dashboards specifically to measure, monitor, and alert the business regarding unforeseen shifts in the performance and risks of the various business units

  • Create ad-hoc reports as requested in a timely and accurate manner, assist senior leadership with various tasks and items as needed

  • Effectively partner with Senior Leadership to drive decision making at an upper level

  • Present findings and recommendations to business and non-technical stakeholders with effective storytelling approaches

  • Partner with various business teams to evaluate and determine the optimal strategies for business growth

  • Lead Analytics instrumentation projects with the various Analytics Engineering teams

  • Work cross-functionally with business leaders, SMEs, product, engineering, data services, design, and other teams to gain invaluable insights that will lead to product and business decisions and opportunities

Requirements:

  • 7 + years of professional experience in a Business Intelligence or Data Analysis role that include building data interpretation and statistical models

  • Fluent in SQL and Excel or ability to learn quickly on the job; experience with a statistical programming language (e.g., R, Python), and/or visualization tools such as Tableau, Qliksense or MicroStrategy preferred

  • Ability to manage work initiatives

  • Ability to use Data tools to effectively interpret data and simplify for communication with Senior Leadership

  • Proven ability to communicate with and impact decision making in upper Management

  • Proven ability to work effectively with a variety of disciplines ranging from Compliance, Customer Support, Marketing, Finance, to Engineer teams

  • Team player who inspires trust, contributes to team success and leads by example to go the extra mile

  • Ability to build relationships and trust across Analytics user community

  • Strong business acumen and ability to identify and communicate trends and insights

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to influence cross-functional teams

  • Data-driven mindset with a degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics or Economics
