Lead important capabilities for the delivery of our key products, services and solutions within Philips Israel

The main challenge of the Country Business Continuity & Crisis Manager is to increase organization resilience by pro-active and preventive measures in support of maintaining customer satisfaction in time of (potential) disruption. This role will focus on the following:

  • Maintaining and managing the Crisis Management system and process, including local and global requirements.

  • Increasing the organization resilience of our Business environment, Information Technology and Supply Chain, in support of continuing the delivery of products, services and solutions to our customers, at acceptable predefined levels, in time of disruption;

  • Assure that the local business continuity process, measures (including business continuity plans and crisis management plans) are compliant with Philips group policy and framework, and maintain requirements of ISO 22301;

  • Assure that the local organization is aware and prepared to respond effectively and efficiently to (potential) disruptions, and assure that measures and plans are available, tested and improved on a continuous base.

You are responsible for

managing the country and sites crisis management teams, business continuity management process, provide support and advice to business operations regarding continuity, managing the continuity of outsourced activities including supply chain continuity, quality assurance, and support with exercising and testing of continuity arrangements.

Your main area of responsibility:

  • Coordinating, activating and facilitating the Crisis management activities for country, site and business

  • Providing advice, support and act as the linking pin between all management interfaces for the embedding and ensuring of business continuity as a continuously process;

  • Maintaining, updating and improving the existing Business Continuity Plans in dedicated BCM systems – FUSION, and communicate to the relevant BCP owners and leaders of the IL business units

  • Performing and maintaining business impacts analysis and risk assessments such that risk to deliver the key products and services are identified and mitigated against;

  • Identifying and inventory the supporting resources such as critical processes, activities and assets;

  • Maintaining, and supporting designated owners of products, services and resources in the development and maintenance of business continuity plans and crisis management plans;

  • Facilitating and supporting the accessibility of information to support real time, informed decision-making during (potential) business disruptions;

  • Providing (remote) 1st and 2nd line support to Philips operations with all cycles of the business continuity management system;

  • Coordinating and maintaining the BCM Support Solution including functional, and information management (1st line support);

  • Managing and influence the business continuity process costs

You are a part of

The Country Business Continuity Manager works close together with the global Center of Excellence Business Continuity & Resilience team (Coe BCR).

You will direct report to the CFO of Philips Israel. Functionally you will report to the Global Head Business Continuity & Resilience who is responsible for the CoE BCR, who reports functional to the COO of Royal Philips.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor degree, Industrial engineering an advantage

  • 5 years of work experience in all areas of Business Continuity / Operational continuity & Crisis Management;

  • Experienced in managing multiple work streams and reporting to senior management- local and global.

  • Knowledge and experience of project management- Must, certified PMI- Advantage

  • Certification in Business Continuity from BCI, DRII or similar- Advantage

  • Experienced in preparedness and certification of ISO22301 from BCI, PECB or similar- Advantage

  • Knowledge of ISO2700X, and ISO31000 - Advantage

  • Preferably certified information risk and audit area (CISA, CRISC)

  • Experienced in developing and guiding business and IT continuity tests and exercises

  • Willing to travel abroad (approximately 3-4 trips annually)
