JOB SUMMARY The Business Controller is responsible for monitoring the companies performance vs pre-set goals such as budgets and forecasts (Latest Best Estimate). The position is responsible for preparing monthly analyses mainly focused on Profit & Loss items, both on brand level as well as regional level. The position is also responsible for preparing budgets and forecasts (Latest Best Estimate) in conjunction with different stakeholders. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES General Proactively provide suggestions for maximising revenue and reducing spend across the business Manage P&Ls, maintaining an overview of budget and spending(including all planning/LBE cycles and reporting Monitor and analyze performance vs budget/LBE both on brand level as well as on regional level Monitor and analyze actual costs vs budget/LBE both on Nordics and country level Monitor and analyze promo spend vs budget/LBE both on brand level as well as on regional level Ad-hoc analyses Budget and Forecast Prepare weekly Sales Flash Assist in budget and LBE planning and preparations General ledger Ensure that appropriate monthly accruals and deferrals are made and controlled mainly for distribution contracts.
