In support of this transformation, the global business applications team is partnering with the business to implement new systems; processes and structure to support future growth.

This brings about an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who is keen to learn and deliver value add solutions. We are looking for dedicated, self-motivated, highly skilled Data Analyst to join the Business Intelligence Team within SDL.

The candidate will bring fresh ideas from all areas including information retrieval, master data management, analytics and data quality and stewardship.  You will have an extensive Data Analysis background with proven technical and problem solving skills.


Key Responsibilities

* To analyse current systems and document the business data model, data flows and relationships of data in different systems.
* Action the GDPR/Privacy monitoring plan through audits, which include conducting reviews of existing processes, documentation and information to ensure they remain up to date.
* Coordinate with business stakeholders to collate and input data into the OneTrust privacy tool, as well as administering access, creating new templates and configuring accordingly.
* Understand and document data structure and business rules within sources systems
* Focus on identifying data issues using data quality and profiling tools as appropriate
* Support design and implementation of new group data governance framework.

Qualifications and experience:
* Experience within data engineering and data related projects
* Hands on project delivery experience within a number of data related initiatives. This should include experience of data design, data mapping and data quality assessment
* Industry experience working with Master Data solutions
* Experience in working in projects related to GDPR
* Prior experience of configuring and maintaining One Trust data privacy tool.
