Purpose & general responsibilities of the position:
We need business develop manager to develop and generate profitable Ocean and Air business growth in the target vertical and trade lanes with healthy customer &opportunity pipeline.
Business develop manager need to conduct activities (calls & meetings) effectively in the Premiers sales methodology to delivery assigned volume and CM1 target,all the sales activities and opportunities should be timely and accurately registered in Damco CRM system.
Business develop manager need to deliver long-term profitable relationship with customers and promote Damco brand at local market.
Specific responsibilities of the position:
Deliver profitable Ocean & Air business growth with a robust customer pipeline in target vertical and trade lanes.
Deliver and where possible exceed targets as set out in your 2015 objectives
Identify the potential business and right customers
Draft & perform the sales call plan according instruction from management
Make sales call to direct customers according to sales call plan
Find and design solution with Sales Support and Product team for customers to catch new business
Deliver market promotion plan for locally identified business planand vertical strategies
Maintain relationships with customers and secure their business stable with Damco.
Ensure the sales call report and CRM being updated at all times.
Promote Damco brand
Sells Damco brand instead of individual activities.
Optimally prepare for sales calls, this include pre-empt accounts’needs. Not limited to pricing but include a sales presentation on Damco capabilities, service scope.
Establish a country to country dialogue with our overseas counterpart to maximize opportunities available on a given account.
Monitor and be aware of market trends
Ensure that market trends are report to management swiftly order to allow managements to react quickly to the market place order maintain our position.
Present regular Sales report to the sales and relevant management.
Approach some competitors with limited cooperation to know about the local market trend,
Collect feedback from direct customers and combined them to be market report for reference.

Requirement:
At least 2 years successful CUS or Sales experience
