Lenovo has established a high growth AI business consisting of worldwide AI
innovation centers, AI-ready infrastructure from edge to core, an AI software
platform and key AI partners. We’re looking for entrepreneurial self-starter
to take ownership of our AI partner ecosystem and expand the breadth of AI
solutions that we can deliver with our partners.
As the Business Development Manager overseeing the Lenovo AI partner
ecosystem, you will be working with technology providers to build AI
solutions. The right person for this role will have a strong business
development or sales background and should be comfortable building new
relationships and driving a cadence with partners. Candidates should have a
foundational understanding of AI and IoT technologies. More importantly, they
will understand how these technologies come together to solve real business
challenges in industries such as Retail, Manufacturing and other key
verticals.
This is a global role based in our North America HQ office in Morrisville, NC.
Lenovo is flexible regarding location for this role but, preference is given
to candidates based near our North America HQ.

Responsibilities:
• Own partnership strategy for Lenovo AI business including onboarding new
partners, relationship management, joint solution development & pipeline for
joint business.
• Drive partnership engagements ranging from established Lenovo partners to
new AI partners, including startups, ISVs and SIs.
• Evangelize existing Lenovo AI strategy & offerings to potential partners –
selling partners on why they should partner with Lenovo for AI.
• Communicate internally and externally about our partners, joint value
proposition and offerings – educating sales teams, marketing teams and channel
partners.
• Assist in joint collateral development and sales enablement in partnership
with our global marketing teams.
#### Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in a technical field or equivalent experience in
Engineering, Business or Information Technology.
• 5+ years of experience selling high tech.
• Strong understanding of the ISV & SI ecosystem providing Enterprise AI
solutions.
• Expertise using consultative solution selling and business development
skills to align solutions.
• Superlative communications and presentation skills – be able to tell
compelling, relatable stories about AI, produce clear documentation, negotiate
partnership terms and assist with closing opportunities with partners.
• Ability to thrive working in a global, matrixed and diverse environment
using strong communication and collaboration skills with internal teams,
customers, vendors and delivery partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Some Subject Matter Expertise regarding ML & DL models, frameworks, data
science workflow, data pipelines, IoT devices & platforms, real-time
analytics, Big Data architectures & programming languages used for AI training
& inferencing.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure including data center (server,
storage, networking), IoT & Edge Computing (gateways, devices, etc).
