Key Responsibilities

Overall business develpment and sales. Identify and develop leads and new customers. Lead a small and focussed sales team.

Continuous pipeline creation for potential sales leads. Build new contacts and maintain relationships. Ensure timely follow up on sales leads, ensure leads are answered and qualified/processed

Participate in RFQ/RFP. Be able to put together balanced quotations. Ensure tenders are replied to within the time specified. Develop clear and effective written quotations/proposals for prospects. Work closely with account management and customers to check that the customer specifications are understood and the right solutions are offered

Research sources for developing prospects and potential markets. Participate in trade shows, conventions and important customer meetings.

Support on Air/Ocean/Rail/Warehousing business and solution development

Support New Accounts Implementation (3 month onboarding and hyper-care period), expedite the resolution for customer complaints, and resolve customer difficulties in a timely manner. Ensure the external customer satisfaction and internal smooth process handling during implementation period

Qualifications

More than 5 years' related experience in Supply Chain / Logistics companies;

Deep understanding of logistics, and excelent communication skills;

University degree, preferably in Shipping/Logistics/International Trade related fields;

Familiar with the local business environment and international business development trends, good sense of the industry development trend and requirements.

Previous experience working in and with multicultural and global teams.

Proficient skills in written and oral English and Chinese

Self-confidence, promptness and ability to make clear statements/presentations

Negotiation skills, flexibility and winning attitude

Strong customer orientation and market insight

Willing and able to work under pressure
