Business Development Director – Greater China
The Business Development role for Greater China is responsible for all sales activities related to the Company’s products and services in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan with focus on business development and distribution objectives.
In addition to the ongoing distribution responsibility this individual will need to effectively aggregate and disseminate information about his/her business and market environment. This information will need to be regularly shared with management, and marketing personnel to ensure a consistent sales strategy and development of best practices.
Duties will include:
- responsibility for managing and developing accounts within the mobile phone makers, eco-system partners and service providers throughout the Territory;
- responsibility for representing the Company and selling its products and services and implementing a strategic account plan to successfully position the Company’s products into target accounts;
- responsibility for developing strategic customer relationships and new account sales across the territory, with the objective of developing a robust sales pipeline leading to the achievement of personal and team goals in the Territory;
- taking full responsibility for planning, forecasting and execution against plan for activities in the Territory
- providing leadership to manage and develop the sales team and help the team adopt and strive for a winning stance and act as the 'Voice of the Region' internally and externally.
- being a role model for the company culture and maintain the highest levels of personal and professional behaviour in the work place.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in the Mobile Telecommunications Industry, with at least 8 years in a senior management position, including managing direct-line reports.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully growing and achieving sales with top handset makers in the region.
- Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels
- Established contacts and relationships with potential customers and partners.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create results driven, team oriented environment.
- Demonstrates strong ethical business practices and adherence to Corporate Governance
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- Bilingually fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English
