• Our client has an outstanding opportunity for a Director, Business Development to join the team and be responsible for helping to grow and diversify this dynamic part of our business.
• This role will be responsible for developing relationships and negotiating partnerships with pharma and biotech customers, enabling them to benefit from company's portfolio of biopharma solutions, including NGS-based genomic assays and analysis capabilities, companion diagnostic development, SmartTrials services, and molecular & clinical genomic information solutions.
• The successful candidate will be highly collaborative and will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including BD peers, operations, R&D, legal, regulatory affairs, and finance.
• As a member of the biopharma team, this individual will also have opportunities to contribute to other strategic and development projects across the group and the company.

• Degree in life sciences preferred, along with an MBA or comparable practical business experience.
• 5-8+ years of experience in biotech/pharmaceuticals or clinical diagnostics, preferably in oncology.
• Significant experience partnering with biopharmaceutical companies, contract negotiation and strategic account management.
• Experience leading and working collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams, across multiple functional areas and development phases.
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining senior-level relationships at customer organizations.
