My client is a British Education Group, their headquarter is based in Shanghai and they have several branch offices in other cities in China. They have International K12 School and overseas study business.

New Campus Project

Develop new school projects with existing or potential resources

Establish good partnerships and government relationships

Be responsible for project assessment, site visiting, due diligence (include market research), deal structure, business negotiation and follow-up of new projects to ensure project viability

Follow up and assist the project team on the implementation of each phase of new projects, communicating and adjusting promptly

School Licensing

Assist the Chinese Principal in the preparation and application of school licenses in line with the school development and get government approvals;

Support the Chinese Principal in managing the routine inspections from relevant authorities;

Liaise and maintain good rapport and relationship with local authorities including EDB and other relevant government departments.

Special Projects

Assist HQ senior staff on special projects as required;

Prepare strategic partnership proposals and risk analysis

Other tasks as assigned by the line manager

KEY OUTCOMES

Hold primary responsibility for developing and managing all aspects of new campus projects;

Assist the Chinese Principal on a project basis in obtaining the licenses to facilitate the School's long-term development.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS& SKILLS

• A bachelor degree or above, preferred in the field of business administration, operation or administration management;
• Developing and expanding new international school campus projects working experience is preferred;
• Proven track record of successful at a senior management level;
• Strong project management skills required;
• Strong business sense required;
• Excellent written and oral English and Chinese language skills.
