Business Development Executive

ABOUT CONSULT GROUP:
Consult Group is a leading British Executive Search firm with its headhunter in London, and offices in Singapore, Melbourne, Shanghai, Suzhou, Hong Kong, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur.
Consult Group - Shanghai after ten years of operation in Shanghai and in conjunction with a move to new and bigger premises at the Bund is expanding its team and is seeking to hire bright and enthusiastic new team members into its consulting, research and business development teams.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- The Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating business from existing and new accounts.
- The role requires a highly self-motivated and proactive individual to build long-term business relationships.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify, call, meet and develop future clients – work with the specialist consultants and encourage them to attend meetings with you.
- Close sales opportunities by signing recruitment agreements – retained and contingent
- Implement ongoing marketing and business development strategies for selected business segments.
- Contribute to marketing activities including: introductory letters/emails, business presentations, marketing materials, seminars and web based marketing activities.
- Develop and explore further opportunities with existing clients
- Manage client and candidate correspondence.
- Update database is updated with candidates sourced.
- Maintain client / candidate records.
- Ensure that project search lists are saved in the search list folder.
- Ensure marketing lists are updated with information obtained through your business development activates.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in a Solution Selling environment is most highly regarded
- University degree or equivalent, minimum 5 years work experience in a sales/marketing or sales-oriented role
- Strong work ethic and ability to meet/exceed targets
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Detail oriented, willing to work under pressure
- Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
