Role: Business Development Intern
Responsibilities：
 Conduct market research to identify potential targets and industry trends
 Source, engage, and schedule meetings with leading executives in marketing, insight, strategy and design roles in the food and beverage industry
 Contact potential prospects to validate potential through telephone, email or LinkedIn conversations, before setting up a face to face meeting
 Manage reporting of BD related initiatives, such as number of leads sourced, amount of contact made, and meetings generated per week
 Help produce client facing reports and support The Silk Initiative in winning new business

Requirements:
 Go-getter/entrepreneurship spirit: excited to contribute to the growth of a young company
 High morals & values+ positive / respectful attitude internally and externally
 Native English level & communication skills in verbal, writing & presentation. Fluency in Mandarin not mandatory but preferred. Candidate may be Chinese national or otherwise, with no preference
 Hungry for success – willing to become a full-time member of TSI and see the company grow
 Negotiation and human-relationship skills required. Outgoing with a hunter-mentality
 Analytic and data-driven
 Full-time rising undergraduate junior or senior at an accredited university or college
 Great telephone and email communications skills

Other Details
 Fixed allowance + commission on deals initiated
