Job Description
As a Business Development Intern at Eaton, you will have the exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross functional team to support dashboard and analytics around inventory, sales, financials, forecasting and operations. This role will enable you to get insights into aerospace industry and markets. You will be supporting projects to integrate newly acquired businesses to our central reporting processes. You will be a part of new digital initiatives from inception to deployment. In this role the candidate will: Support analytics projects coming from cross functional teams in our business-like sales, customer service, pricing, inventory, supply chain and forecasting. Create and maintain new dashboards using BI tools like OBIEE, Siebel and Power BI. Maintain daily metrics around critical financial parameters of the business. Review dataset available and identify gaps and help establish processes to improve data accuracy Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify areas of data analytics requirements and provide support. Maintain existing data repositories for product, customer and platform information utilized for existing dashboards. Support new digital initiatives like RPA, Factory 4.0 etc. Support implementation and deployment of new BI tools. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree program preferably in analytics or data science from an accredited institution. Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher (please do not round). Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship. Minimum of one internship or co-op experience completed at the time of this application. Relocation is being offered for this role. This position requires the use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Preferred Qualifications: Advanced excel knowledge – using formulas, VLOOKUP Knowledge of BI tools like Power BI, Microsoft Power App. Knowledge of CRM tools like Salesforce, Siebel.
