Business Development Manager
Reporting to:
VP Sales

The Role
Introduction: The primary role of the Business Development Manager - is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients, then plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.
Main Duties:
1. New Business Development
1) Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
2) Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
3) Research and build relationships with new clients.
4) Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
5) Participate in pricing the solution/service.
2. Client Retention
1) Maintain good relationship with third party such as supplier, OEM, integrator and other equipment supplier.
2) Present new services and enhance existing relationships.
3) Work with colleagues to meet customer needs.
3. Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
4. Business Development Planning
1) Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
2) Present to and consult with senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
3) Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
4) Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Key Performance Indicators:
1. Grow the China business
2. Add at least 5 new channel. Train and lead them well enough to sell our products independently.
3. Build business development plan and work with the sales and marketing team closely.
4. Build and maintain relationship with all key supplier and OEM.
Primary Objectives:
1. Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
2. Build and maintain good relationship with third party such as supplier, OEM, integrator and other equipment supplier.
3. Present new services and enhance existing relationships.
4. Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
Skill Requirements
5. Proven track record of sales/business development in China. Experience with foreign company is preferred
6. A bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of sales or marketing experience is required. An MBA will be an advantage.
7. Independent and able to motivate, grow as a team member in China. Results-oriented.
8. Good sales and relationship building skills
9. A good team player
10. Fluency in both English and Chinese
