Responsibilities:

1.Investigate business opportunities and develop information to define market segments focus, market potentials, market characteristics, competition and technologies that are the key to securing new businesses in the served markets.


2.Define market entry and development strategies based on the market research project as well as understanding of the competitive landscape.


3.Seek new target customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plans to approach the target market segments and secure new businesses.


4. Develop and strengthen good relationship with potential customers, agents, partners etc.


5. Generate qualified leads to the Sales team, that could potentially lead to orders, through various types of channels;


6. Understand customers’ requirements in a specific market and transfer these information to the Sales team.


7. Present Swisslog and proposed solutions professionally to potential customers.


8.Create trust and strong relationship at all levels in the customer organisation, such as but not limited to, decision makers, top management, project team etc.


9.Continuously improve Swisslog position in the entire sales cycle, such as but not limited to gathering intelligence information, applying strategic action plans etc.


10.Ensure accurate forecasting and planning of future demand is obtained from the potential business segment and coordinated with all other relevant internal functions to improve overall short and long term planning.


11. Attend industry trade events along with network opportunities and other relevant meetings/seminars.


Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree in engineering.

2.Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the industry and a proven track record of profitably growing sales revenue in the served markets.

3. Strong business acumen and solid understanding of business finance and marketing.

4. Proven business success in penetration and business development of new markets.

5. Demonstrated ability to deliver results both individually and through teams.

6.Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationship with cross- functional teams and manage complex multitasked activities.

7. Self-starter, results driven, strategic thinking, strong communicator especially in cross-functional and multi-national environment.

8. Strong communication skills including formal and informal presentations, both verbal and written.

9. Willing to travel on business, both domestically and overseas on short notice.
