We are looking for an excellent individual to join our office in Jiaxing as business development manager

Main Responsibilities

• Actively prospect and leverage potential new clients;
• Plan approaches, sales calls and meeting with potential clients taking into consideration specific needs and requirements of the account;
• Prepare quotation and proposal to prospects;
• Handle and turn around objections, propose value and foster partnership with clients in the daily work;
• Cultivate strong, long-term relationship with key decision makers within the account;
• Communicate with our internal operation department, providing precise information regarding clients’ need, requirements and our solutions;
• Be aware of competitors activities and adapt tactics to meet market/account demands.

Profile

• Verifiable experience in business development with a strong track record of proven deal achievements (freight forwarding industry only);
• Effective networking, communication and presentation skills;
• Able to stick to targets and objectives agreed with management;
• Well organized, loyal and result oriented;
• Motivated to work independently and able to overcome rejections;
• Strong questioning and listening skills;
• Fluent in business English and Chinese;
• Willing to work in a small, result oriented company;
• An established portfolio of clients (European/Chinese/South East Asian) will be considered a plus;
• Available to travel in Shanghai and Zhejiang (visiting clients who refer to Shanghai as main port and airport)
