Job Description

Business Development Manager Job Duties:
o Set sales targets and define strategy to achieve these targets and to follow the set strategy punctually
o Manage the proposal development process and maintain the time-lines for the proposal teams
o Coordinate with staff team for standards, conditions and timing of research for potential buisness opportunities
o Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring
opportunities.
o Develop draft proposals based on team / client meetings and discussions
o Maintain the Business Development databases
o Support marketing activities, including trade shows, promotional materials, etc.
o Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials;
evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
o Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and
operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
o Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract
requirements with business operations.
o Asian experience or background a must

Skills/Qualifications:
Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Selling to Customer Needs, Market Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Energy Level, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism
Candidate must have a keen interest in China/Africa trade with developing countries
Ability to speak, read or write Chinese – a plus.
