Based in one of our regional offices in China (Shanghai or Gaungzhou), India (Mumbai), Malaysia or the Philippines, Puratos is looking for a Business Development Manager, Animal Feed Enzymes.

Job description

You are responsible for developing the feed enzymes business with specialized distributors and direct customers to expand and support the distributor network internationally, with a strong focus on Asia.

Key Tasks

• Strategic development of distributors in the region: support existing distributors where present to help them become more successful
• Search, recommend and develop new distributors in uncovered countries
• Train distributors’ sales and technical teams (technical training on our enzymes)
• Search & selected potential direct key accounts in the region (to be approached without distributors)
• Strategic market analysis (competition, products, prices, trends,…)
• Set-up & follow-up local animal trials
• Plan sales budget for the region/distributors and direct customers

Profile

• Expertise in Feed ingredients (min 5 years of experience), animal nutrition, specialization in poultry nutrition is a plus
• Ideally a qualified Veterinarian or formal training and/or experience in Animal Care
• Commercial expertise in the Feed sector and international network
• Proactive & self-driver
• Good presentation skills
• Language skills (fluent English, ideally fluent Chinese and/or Asian local language)
• (Competitive) Market intelligence on Feed enzymes & Animal Nutrition
• Network of animal research centers in the Region
