This role is a new position driving Lenovo’s AI business in North America. Lenovo has established worldwide AI innovation centers, an AI Research Lab, AI-ready infrastructure from edge to core, an AI platform and a partner ecosystem.  We’re looking for entrepreneurial self-starter to take ownership of the AI business in North America, leveraging the established building blocks to grow our business. The person in this role will have a deep understanding of AI and IoT technologies, frameworks, platforms/devices and software.  More importantly, they will understand how these technologies come together to solve real business challenges in industries such as Retail, Manufacturing and other key verticals. If you’re a combination of advocate, evangelist, solution seller and architect, then this is the role for you! Responsibilities: • Drive the engagement of prospective corporate and enterprise level clients, working in conjunction with other Lenovo sales resources • Evangelize AI strategy & solutions to clients – help clients truly understand what AI can do for them buy advocating for the WHY before the HOW • Become a trusted advisor on AI to clients though building consultative relationships with C-suite executives and key stakeholders.  Develop and leverage a core understanding of the unique business needs of within their company and industry. • Manage sales pipeline and grow the AI business in North America, carrying opportunities through to close and post-sale. • Generate a strategic sales plan, identifying emerging industry markets & interface with our global organization on client opportunities • Communicate internally and externally about Lenovo’s AI approach, value proposition and offerings – educating and partnering with generalist sellers, technical sellers and channel partners. • Engage clients directly via video conference and in the future, in-person – when safe and appropriate This is a remote position with a North America regional focus. Lenovo is flexible regarding location for this role so long as the individual is based in a major metro area. *LI-10001, *LI-07505, *LI-06901 #### Position Requirements: Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science in a technical field or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business or Information Technology • 10+ years of experience selling high tech, big-ticket products or solutions with 5+ years of specific AI experience • Subject Matter Expertise around ML & DL models, frameworks, data science workflow, data pipelines, IoT devices & platforms, real-time analytics, Big Data architectures & programming languages used for AI training & inferencing. • Strong understanding of infrastructure including data center (server, storage, networking), IoT & Edge Computing (gateways, devices, etc). • Strong understanding of the ISV & SI ecosystem providing Enterprise AI solutions. Preferred Qualifications: • Expertise using consultative solution selling and business development skills to align solutions to client business needs • Superlative communications and presentation skills – be able to tell compelling, relatable stories about AI, produce clear documentation, negotiate and closing deals • Ability to thrive working in an global, matrixed and diverse environment using strong communication and collaboration skills with internal teams, customers, vendors and delivery partners Why Lenovo?
