Job Description
Responsibilities:
New
Business Development
- Prospect for new opportunities and convert these opportunities into new clients

Build a robust pipeline of quality opportunities by identifying appropriate decision makers within target prospects’ organisation

Research and plan client pitches by working with the teams to develop proposals that address clients’ needs, concerns and objectives

Participate in structuring and pricing the solution/service
Business Development Planning
- Attend industry functions and conferences, and provide feedback on market developments
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
Management and Research
-
Ensure pipeline data is accurately entered and updated within Marsh’s sales management system
- Track and record activity on accounts and actively manage the process to close deals to meet sales targets
Job Requirements:
-
An ambitious lead generator: Someone with a flair for connecting with people through networking and is fearless in pursuing and winning opportunities
- At least 3 years’ experience in a business development role
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, combined with a solid understanding of risk concepts and are able to employ a consultative approach to sales
- Excellent organizational skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines
