EVB Business Development Manager Role

The regional Business Development manager role has overall responsibility to identify, evaluate and manage new business opportunities and market initiates.  This position establishes relationships with potential EVB customers and connects the new EVB customers with the appropriate sales personnel. The incumbent will work closely with marketing to identify and evaluate opportunities and sales staff to convert leads in sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Activities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify, assess, develop and manage new programs and new business opportunities for EVB area, leading to successful commercialization efforts.  Work with prospective customers to identify unmet needs, implement initiatives to meet those needs.   

  • Identify and evaluate entirely “new to Avery” business prospects for consideration that fit within the vision and capabilities of the business. Identify and evaluate new opportunities building off existing technologies to new or existing customers.

  • Develop and maintain working relationships with business partners at all levels of the customers’ organization.

  • Support market study and analysis, identify market size, growth trend, competitor landscape, new growth engine.

  • Responsible for opportunity analysis and the development and execution of business development and new venture development plans. Responsible for profitably growing the business.

  • Participate in trade associations and technical conferences related to target market opportunities.

  • Monitor and report on industry trends.  Incorporate knowledge of the industry to partner with Marketing and R&D to develop products, support materials and pricing recommendations. Partner with Sales to transition business。

  • development account activities during commercialization. 

  • Identify customers and products for “quick hit” project opportunities.

  • Provide exceptional customer experience for business partners and prospects to develop long-term business opportunities.

  • Navigate complex problems and structures to determine the best solutions for customer needs.

 

职位要求

  • Bachelor’s Degree above, preferably with a background in engineering, or material sciences

  • Good communication skill for both internal and external

  • Working proactively and good teamwork spirit

  • At least 3 years’ experience in EVB area, as a R&D or project manager is preferred

  • Expected travel is 50%~70% of time

  • Fluent English is preferred
