About Role:
The Business Development Manager position will be responsible for driving new
business customer acquisition increasing revenue, and building customer
satisfaction in Lenovo's Mid Market accounts
Responsibility:
• Identify & engage with Mid Market prospects to acquire new business for
Lenovo.
• Collaborate with Lenovo Channel partners to initiate customer acquisition
strategies
• Implement and manage programs to drive growth in Mid Market channel segment
• Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities for Lenovo products and
services
• Develop account relationships on all hierarchy levels at the prospects,
including senior level engagements.
• Engage with extended teams in responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and
product transition plans
• Develop strategies for profit and pricing proposals, as well as communicate
and understand Total Cost of Ownership, industry trends, and critical success
factors for an effective roll-out.
#### Position Requirements:
Preferred candidate:
• Should have minimum 5 yrs sales experience in related field.
• Should learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services,
industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
• Be able to demonstrate success in acquisition selling
• Demonstrate previous success in direct sales experience, consistent over-
achievement of quota and revenue goals
• Have The ability to perform independently when engaging and closing
identified sales opportunities within the customer base.
• Can differentiate offerings and articulate the Lenovo value proposition
against the competition, to ensure the best potential to win in sales
opportunities.
• Intermediate MS Office skills necessary.
