Job Title: Business Development Manager, North China
JOB SUMMARY
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Logistics Director and GM to define positions, focus segments and strategies of Business Development for the North China.
Aggressively and constantly approach and tackle target potential customers to realize new business.
Work for all customers tenders with sound proposals, through organizing and working together with relative resources in the company (e.g., finance, operations).
Responsible for all new business a sustainable & profitable proposal/offering with right pricing through working together with relative departments/resources for all detail/assumptions.
Gradually build up a strong BD team with the growth of scale & demand.
Implement and develop procedures, policies and templates for Business Development and Implementation projects in the North China Region, in line with the corporate standards.
Responsible for implementation of a new business through working together and closely with the Operations team.
Assist the Logistics Director or the GM North China for various projects, from time to time as required.
Work with and help from each other the peer managers in the team, as a team-player to support an effective and efficient management team and teamwork.
- University graduate or above. Tertiary education on Logistics/Supply Chain/ Operations/ Finance is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of Management / Operational experience in a Business / Distribution Centre of significant size.
- Strong experience in dealing with customers, logistics operations and taking charge of P&L
- Strong sense of commercialization and strong acumen on numbers, costs & profit.
- Exceptional personal standards of honesty, integrity, reliability and professionalism
- Self motivated / driven

- Ability to read, analyse and interpret KPI data
