Job Description
- Identify, assess, develop and manage new programs and new business opportunities for assigned area, leading to successful commercialization efforts. Work with prospective VI industry leaders to identify unmet needs, implement initiatives to meet those needs.
- Responsible for market study and analysis, identify market size, growth trend, competitor landscape, new growth engine.
- Lead and manage priority growth projects. Lead teaming efforts (and project manage activities) that include R&D, manufacturing, quality and application development resources.
- Monitor and report on industry trends. Incorporate knowledge of the industry to partner with Marketing to develop products, support materials and pricing recommendations. Partner with Sales to transition business development account activities during commercialization.
- Support Marketing on forecasting for your products and programs (projects).
- May establish pricing programs and strategies. Secure optimum product positioning within target accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 8 years of commercial/business development experience, familiar with VI industry practice, including but not limited to retailing (零售业), supermarket (商店、超市、便利店连锁等), food (食品-肉类、生鲜、冷藏、冷冻等), quick response service (现做面包、点心、奶茶、饮料、咖啡等), aviation (航空业), warehousing management (仓储流转等) etc. (other related industry experience will be considered)
- End user management experience, partner management experience (partner including but not limited to equipment suppliers, distributors, channels, related label consumable materials etc.)
- Proven track record in building and maintaining customer (end user) relationships (especially with big brands)
- Must be able to champion and drive new business ventures, establish new contacts
- Fluent in Mandarin and Business English (English writing skill is necessary)
- Knowledge in market & data analysis
- Open and innovative mindset to propose new ideas and actions
