An exceptional opportunity presents itself for a Business Development Manager, Wellness to be part of an iconic London Opening. The landmark Old War Office located in historic Whitehall, is being transformed into an iconic Raffles ultra-luxury hotel and deluxe residences.

Reporting into the Director of Wellbeing, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of the Spa & Wellness Club at Raffles London at The OWO. While primarily focused on establishing an exclusive membership and managing an effective member retention programme, the Business Development Manager will drive the sales of all spa and wellness revenue streams.

The Business Development Manager, Wellness is responsible for achieving membership sales ahead of budget; ensuring membership retention is high through ongoing member relations and working with the wider team to ensure members have an excellent experience; delivering budgeted growth across all club income streams and assisting with preparing the annual sales and marketing plan.

In addition the will work closely with the Communications team to plan and execute marketing activity; generate new business leads for groups, events, and corporate bookings; produce and analyse accurate, transparent sales reports and ensure all team members are optimising the revenue opportunities in each guest interaction.

What are we looking for?

  • Luxury membership sales experience within the London health club and spa market possibly as an experienced Membership Manager, Business Development Manager, or Sales Manager
  • Experience in proactively in generating new leads
  • Connections: a little black book of brands, partners, press and influencers to call on.
  • Immaculately presented with outstanding communication and influencing skills
  • Gracious and charming, delivering emotional experience with each guest
  • Strong business acumen
  • Entrepreneurial drive
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Be a fluent English speaker and eligible to work in UK
