Introduction: We are looking for a Vertical Business Development manager for Automotive or Intralogistics or Marine or Pulp&Paper industry in Motion Control Asia Pacific Headquarter, responsible for Siemens GMC products’ portfolio and related applications in global market. Working location could be Nanjing/Shanghai/Beijing. What are my responsibilities? Goals/Mission: • Promote Verticals business development for the responsible industry in global market • To be the HQ segment coordinator in target verticals for assigned regions Working Partners/Contacts: • Internal: HQ Vertical BD, Regional Manager, Marketing & Promotion, Product management in Germany and China, target sales regions, cross-function BU, regional BD, GWE, SNC, EWA… • External: Key accounts, OEM customers, end users, distributors, EPC, system integrators… Tasks: • Gather product and system application know-how in the responsible industry. • Support to develop new business opportunities in global target regions • Resource support for current vertical business to regions and customers • Key vertical competitors’ analysis • Technology alignment with product manager for product development and improvement • Support technical training for customers • Representative in vertical related seminar/summit/fair/forum to promote Siemens solution What do I need to qualify for this job? Education: • Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Industry Technology, Electrical Engineering or Automation • 3 years working experience or above Knowledge/Languages: • Drive Technology know how, preferred Siemens Drive technology (minimum basic) • Industry market background/knowledge/competitors/trend • Industry expertise (manufacturing technique, value chain, etc. of responsible industry) • Fluent in both oral and written English Experience: • Experienced in discrete industry or multi-national industry projects • Familiar with CRM, PLM process would be beneficial • Project management experience Capabilities: • Entrepreneurial spirit, Self-reliant, Strategical skills, technical leadership • Initiative Business competence and risk management • Communication skills, Team cooperation, Business orientation, Customer focus • Professional ethics, Identify with Siemens values What else do I need to know?
