Blatravel is the fast growing mobile startup based in Shanghai. We provide daily travel deals to China's burgeoning middle-class vacationers through social media+mobile platforms. To introducing more fresh deals from Thailand, Singapore, Korea, Japan, Taiwan and other neighboring regions in the near future, we are currently seeking a Business Development / Marketing assistant to join our team. He/She will be responsible for developing new business across forementioned regions. On daily basis the role will research online and identify targeted hotel properties, build relationship with marketing/sales department by cold-calling or visiting their Shanghai-based offices, and negotiating attractive travel deals.

You should be pro-active, entrepreneurial and resourceful and have strong BD / MKT experience in either digital or travel industry, and be able to work on a fast-moving portfolio of products. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to cold-call and present face-to-face to senior decision makers.

Your key responsibilities:
- Managing and desktop researching and identifying ideal hotel properties or other travel agencies;
- Pro-actively approaching, cold-calling and meeting/presenting to representatives of targeted partners;
- Negotiating and packaging travel deals;
- Account management.

Key skills:
- Bilingual (English&Chinese;) is a must
- Active on either Twitter, Facebook or Linkedin
- >1 year business development / Marketting experience;
- Proactive, self starter and entrepreneurial;
- Team player;
- Good time management;
- Multi-tasker;
