The Job: successful candidates will be responsible for securing new business for the company. He/she will initiate and manage our relationships with new customers as part of the implementation of the business development strategy. Candidates with a background in sales who are analytically minded and motivated will do well in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Know-Your-Customer process of the new clients to ensure full compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements
- Prepare marketing documents, presentation and promotion materials
- Proactively develop and maintain quality relationship with existing clients
- Contract preparation and fee negotiation with clients
- Customer relationship management to spot new business opportunities, understand customers’ requirements
- Development and relationship management with bankers and other intermediaries
Qualifications and requirements:
- Degree-holder in business administration, marketing, finance or social sciences
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales related to financial products and services
- Having good corporate connections
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong learning ability and sense of responsibility
- High level of customer centricity with business mindset, self-motivated, confident and a team player will be preferred
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Business Development Assistant
