Business Development Representative

Job Description

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will prospect into targeted GCR MMA business to increase productivity of Autodesk’s sales teams by identifying high potential revenue opportunities with well-qualified prospects. This role will interact with clients of all levels, in a variety of industries and across a broad geographical area.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Demand Generation and TASEs to build a qualified pipeline of customers
  • Assist MMA sales to expand pipeline as well as pipeline stage move up
  • Prospect customers by leveraging outbound medium technologies to evangelize Autodesk solutions
  • Identify target markets, develop leads and directly prospect into those accounts
  • Transition qualified opportunities to the appropriate TASE
  • Map key stakeholders, technical requirements and business process on all deals
  • Drive additional revenue opportunities by applying incremental programs or projects initiated by sales management or Marketing DG
  • Manage a database of leads in Salesforce.com, efficiently processing all opportunities, tracking, reporting and maintaining them until they are established in the sales pipeline
  • Proficient in identifying key decision makers in other organizations within the accounts to find additional sales opportunities
  • DG events invitation and leads follow up and qualify

Minimum Qualifications
  • Familiarity with sales process and certain selling methodologies
  • Account base selling experience is a plus
  • Good prospecting and leads qualification skills
  • Familiarity with sales logging applications (i.e., Salesforce)
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage difficult situations while remaining upbeat and positive at all times
  • Strong work ethic: Team oriented, stakeholders alignments, channel engagement experience, self-starter, high energy, and results oriented
  • Industry and solution knowledge will be preferred
  • Highly proficient computer skills including internet, SFDC, email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Database management a plus
