// ABOUT THIS ROLE
We're looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to lead our sales efforts in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for discovering, qualifying, and managing prospects, as well as leading subsequent sales processes.

A typical day in the role:

  • Working with the core team in London to design target and call strategy
  • Identifying new opportunities based on product-fit
  • Generating new leads through outbound prospecting
  • Executing 40-50 outbound calls/day or equivalent talk time
  • Proactively driving pipeline and converting to revenue
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding monthly quotas

Required experience:

  • Past experience in a BD role at a digital agency, B2B SaaS company, or similar
  • Extensive understanding of a CRM system such as Hubspot, Salesforce, or ActiveCampaign
  • Ability to react in a timely professional manner to unexpected, evolving and wide-ranging client demands
  • Excellent written and verbal community skills, and an ability to relate to others
  • Experience in the email and online marketing space

Beneficial experience:

  • Any expertise setting up pipeline automation systems
  • Experience creating and optimising email marketing campaigns
  • Past experience working with the US federal and local government in a procurement, project management, or finance-type role.
