Job Description
The Business Development specialist within PTL Group sales team is a challenging and important role. For the last 16 years, PTL has been established in the market as a service provider for FDI into China with a vast expertise in China operations and natural growth in the Israeli and other European and other markets. However, the current focus is China market as the potential ground to attract new clients, mainly foreign invested enterprises looking to grow their business within Mainland.
The Business Development Specialist work is fundamental opening doors, nurturing channels, generating leads and populating the pipeline. With 4 offices in China, our reach is wide but our focus narrow. We tailor to specific companies and speak to decision makers; you will be initiating these conversations, and inviting our General Manager in China to close the deals hand-in-hand. You will receive all the support necessary to reach out and conceal a deal. You will also have a say in the creative work necessary to market our services, however, our in-house marketing team will support your efforts.
As well, PTL Group counts with a large pool of senior managers, experts in their fields. Always available to answer prospects requests, and facilitate the BD work.
In brief, the tasks and duties to fulfill in this role, as follow:
• Attend regularly chamber events and other networking events in China to maintain the company’s image and presence within the community. Mainly covering the chambers we are members of (AmCham, AustCham, IsCham, CanCham) but not limited to these ones. In the event the opportunity to join a new chamber appears this shall be discussed and budgeted first.
• Attend regularly exhibitions to generate new leads, maintain and follow these leads on a regular base.
• Co-organize chamber events with frequency. Organize and host PTL events and seminars on the related service offer.
• Maintain a regular log into the CRM with new meets, prospects and leads.
• Create and nurture a network of partners that could refer business to PTL such as: lawyers, accounting firms, HR and recruiting agencies, relocation companies.
• Nurture your pipeline and hold regular meetings with prospects via email, telephone of face to face meeting followed by a monthly report.
• Attend regular weekly meetings to share pipeline with peer managers.
• Keep a tight agenda of meetings in Shanghai and Beijing to foster presence among the network and brand visibility.
• Engage with clients online and offline, follow up, draft agreements and close deals.
• Promote all PTL Group services offer, as well as sister company CI3.
• Generate content and build online presence via LinkedIn and other social media relevant for the task.
• Establish contact with a new market and nurture with content prepared by you following PTL Vi guidelines.
• Recruit, manage and supervise PTL’s in-house sales team, mainly interns and subordinates.

Candidate’s Requirements and profile:
1. Work experience in sales and business development with at least 2 years living and working in China experience, ideally with Marketing background
2. Business degree would be nice but not mandatory
3. Very outgoing personality, friendly, highly developed social skills
4. Good network in the expat community
5. High level of social media communication skills
6. Ability to research and write content/articles/ presentations
7. Highly motivated , sales driven
8. Good presentation skills
