Role Summary:
This role is responsible for managing and leading the China region of Life Sciences Services. Responsibilities will include defining growth initiatives and operating plans in concert with Sales, Marketing and Service to accomplish targeted revenue and margin goals in the profitable installation, maintenance and repair of Life Sciences products; and creating and fostering an innovative and creative environment to achieve ultimate customer loyalty.

Essential Responsibilities:
Drive business results, lead Service delivery and manage customer relationships within the region, which continuously surpasses customer expectations
Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and all GE Healthcare organizations creating “one Life Sciences” for the customer
Active member of the China Commercial organization working across business and functional areas with a focus on meeting changing customer demands and delivering business objectives
Proactively identify customer needs and develop and implement customer specific solutions
Continuously challenge and seek new business models to expand product offerings that will meet the needs of customers across various market segments (government, academic, pharmaceutical research and manufacturing); creates an environment of inclusive leadership where diverse thought drives new ideas and actions that grows the business and members of the team
Accountable for active and positive leadership and culture of the China team through ongoing direction, coaching and career development of leaders; leads and cultivates a culture of accountability and integrity
Has responsibility for productivity – driving field labor effectiveness and efficiency (dispatch, competency, utilization) as well as parts consumption and return
Drive change initiatives as required to improve efficiencies and execute on business commitments
Leverage internal relationships to enhance business performance and customer experiences
Ensure operational processes (PM completion, Overtime management, NCR, FE Tool utilization, EPM utilization) are optimized within China
Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with applicable EHS policies and procedures

Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of leadership experience, preferably in a Service organization or equivalent (defined as High School Diploma/GED and eight years progressive experience with leadership in a Service organization and technical support)
Proven experience leading a team, managing customer relationships, and/or managing a P&L or comparable business unit
Strong understanding of various service models and how to grow revenues and margin in each category type (HBS, Contract, installation services and parts)
Previous direct report management, team building or leadership experience Strong business and financial acumen
Ability to develop and execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Ability to travel 25% or more of the time as needed

Desired Characteristics:
MBA or master’s degree and prior field sales or field service experience
Direct customer relationship experience
Proven leadership and an ability to orchestrate resources and motivate teams
Experience in managing a large P&L
Leadership skills that build a connection to the workforce through personal involvement, inclusivity, and trust
Proven ability to influence and drive change through exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated tendency to challenge the status quo, drive constant improvement in process, and an ability to achieve organizational goals
Understanding of customer/marketplace and drivers that influence customer behavior
Ability to resolve complex issues within functional area and/or area of expertise
Ability to develop and execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives
Proven ability to effectively communicate across a distributed workforce
