Position Overview Siemens Large Drives Business is looking for a multifaceted professional to lead the Service Innovation team function of our Customer Services Business Unit. This is a leadership opportunity to strategically partner with Business Unit leadership in driving cross functional digitalization projects, key pivotal initiatives and programs passionate about service portfolio & business excellence tools to ultimately deliver an outstanding customer service experience. In this role you will lead the digital transformation of the industrial market with a comprehensive lifecycle portfolio ranging from traditional services to the seamless integration of digital platforms and technologies that will take the industry to the next level of efficiency. We address numerous markets with a focus on oil & gas, power generation, minerals, chemical, water and wastewater as well as clean energy focused industries. You will report into the Director - Digital Business & Services Portfolio Management. Lead a diverse team responsible for supervising ongoing programs, optimizing processes and maintaining the tool landscape used for selling and delivering services. This team supports the entire breadth of the service teams and collaborate with other functions in the organization such as Sales, IT, and Marketing. Responsibilities Drives alignment on strategy, guidelines and procedures related to Business Excellence Tools & Process for the Customer Services Business Unit. Leads a diverse team of professionals managing & supporting business tools and processes for portfolio management, business development, sales, factory, technical service (remote & field) and project management. Drive an innovation approach and initiate activities to benchmark and evaluate opportunities to improve business operational performance using digital technology. Sets up, coordinates, and ensures implementation of comprehensive business improvement programs with appropriate KPI’s in line with overall business excellence strategy and targets for the assigned organizational unit. Defines program structure, required resources, responsibilities, and targets for individual subprograms. Develop program KPI’s and supervises progress and ensures program reviews with management, functions, and communication to all key stakeholders across CS organization. Ensures cross functional implementation of business excellence approaches, drives best practice transfer and lessons learned regionally and globally as needed. Supervise/research technology trends (Strategic/proactive analytics) to develop new service portfolio ideas Research, test and pilot technology trends to develop new/improved internal business process systems (e.g., SAP, SalesForce, MS Dynamics365) Collaborating with the IT teams to translate business requirements into technology roadmaps, budgets and deliver to plan. Figures out analytics framework, tools, and systems (e.g., WebFocus, Tableau, Power BI) Supports other functions/areas with capabilities (e.g., VIP customer experience – customer view) Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or similar subject area At least 10 years of professional work experience At least 3 years working in business ecosystems tools like SAP, SalesForce, MS Dynamics 365 Experience in leading a team and working in a multi-national, matrix environment Demonstrated experience leading sophisticated multi-functional digitalization projects Ability to work well with interdisciplinary & international teams. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in-person or virtually across all levels Strong sense of ownership and drives improvement Effective change leadership skills with demonstrated experience of driving the organization and culture towards desired outcomes Team approach with the ability to work with and lead teams constructively to achieve a common goal Organized, creative, able to bring new and outstanding ideas; seen as original and conducive in brainstorming settings.
