This is a Six (6) Month Contract opportunity. What will you do? Student Coordinator Primary contact between the students and Siemens as the face of SCETA (Siemens Certified Education and Talent Academy) Present the SCETA program to different institutions across, including colleges, institutes, and universities, engaging audiences, and answering questions Support SCETA students by answering questions promptly, providing guidance, and organizes team building activities Write and publish quarterly articles on successful SCETA alumni, managers, and students Coordinate and connect students to alumni buddies Organize and participate in onboarding events, including leadership talks, training sessions, and activities Liaise with human resources staff, hiring managers, and other teammates to address concerns and questions Contribute to all aspects of recruitment, including screening applicants’ resumes, cover letters and transcripts, assessing pre-recorded and “live” video interviews, and keeping track of data in a concise excel spreadsheet Assist Project Co-Ordinator in managing the student certification training activities Content development for internal and external networks such as Yammer and LinkedIn Maintain the documentation database and keep templates/forms/surveys updated Business Excellence Administrator Monitor, assign and track Quality-Management Training Lead the development and implementation of Digital-Applications Support all aspects of Siemens’ Quality Management (QM) Program Assist businesses with issues related to Quality Management Systems Oversee Corporate Document-Management System (Circulars, Policies and Procedures) Monitor compliance to Product-Safety, Engineering and Technical Regulations & Standards Assist in the development and implementation of Process-Procedures and Work-Instructions What will you need to succeed? Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Business, Marketing or Communications 1-2 years of professional experience in a Quality-Management, Engineering, Business, Marketing or Project-Management role Willing to work remotely with occasional visits to the Siemens Canada Head Office (Oakville) Thrives in a fast-paced working environment and is highly flexible A self-starter who takes initiative and is a confident problem-solver Strong character judgement, intuition, organization, and time management abilities Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written About us.
