Eaton’s Corporation is currently seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. This position can be based at any Eaton US facility or approved US based remote/home office. Position Overview: The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for supporting the Microsoft Power BI Workspace designed for Supply Chain and Continuous Improvement teams with a focus on operational excellence, managing data acquisition and data cleansing routines, data analytics expertise, data process skills, change management, and continuous improvement methodologies, measurements and tools to analyze enterprise level data sources, connect leading and lagging indicators, and drive solutions for the business units and supporting supply chain functions. In this function you will: Build new enterprise BI solutions and reports using Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Azure and on-premise Cloudera data hubs Coordinates internally & externally to define, document, and execute the setup, quality, cadence, and method of delivery of data files into Power BI and establishes and enforces organizational processes and standards within the Power BI. Responsible for the functional and technical requirements from the customers, as well as the analysis and definition of the different sources of information and the reports layout. Assist with knowledge management and tracking of various industry information including monthly industry trends, aggregating vendor and other proprietary information reviewing / confirming supplier data, checking data for accuracy, data manipulation/categorization, and high- level analysis. Provide project management and support to identify, prioritize and drive data analytics projects that are most impactful in procurement decision-making, performance management, and end-to-end continuous improvement. Maintain and enhance existing and new Power Platform Applications. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college required. A minimum of 2 years of business intelligence, business analytics, with strong analytical intuition and business acumen. No relocation is offered for this position. Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future. Preferred Qualifications: Reporting and Analytics expert familiar with new analytics technologies: Microsoft Power BI or similar (QlikView, Tableau, etc.) Solid understanding of system development methodologies, familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps, Common Data Service, Power Automate, and Power BI and an excellent grasp of database concepts, data specification, data rules and data quality metrics User and development experience with MS SharePoint, Power BI, QlikView, Common Data Service, Cloudera Data Hub or other Business Intelligence tools is a plus Strong SQL Experience to analyze data thoroughly Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices.
