Role:
An exciting opportunity to join an expanding Business Intelligence Team and contribute towards intelligence led change and innovation.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will contribute to delivering an effective and high quality Business Intelligence and Reporting service to RWS’s external and internal customers. The Business Intelligence Analyst will help the business by automating routine reporting and leveraging value from our data. They will be able to gather requirements, manage stakeholders and schedule data projects.

Responsibilities:
* Build strong stakeholder relationships, in order to understand business challenges and collaboratively define and document precise business requirements for specific projects
* Provide leadership and independent initiatives in facilitating information gathering, structured documentation and presentation of findings to all levels of the business
* Design, develop, model, and create data structures to integrate, prepare, and generate reports
* Develop and build dashboards and visualizations in Sisense or similar BI tools.
* Work with the Business to ensure they can utilize the output of your projects to enable data driven decisions
* Breakdown requirements, simplify architectures, and collaborate with other business teams to deliver intelligent data solutions in line with defined objectives and results
* Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content
* Identify performance, visualization and reporting challenges, and suggest code and architectures improvements
* Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools
* Mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to the business
* Produce and track key performance indicators
* Develop and support reporting processes
* Monitor and audit data quality

Skills & Experience:
* Strong problem solving abilities involving identifying the root cause of problems, assessing risks/impacts and determining and implementing effective solutions
* Strong presentation skills and an ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences in a clear, simple way, both written and verbally
* Good command of Excel and PowerPoint or equivalents, familiarity with SQL and BI software (ideally Sisense or similar) 
* Analytical aptitude and interest in interrogating data to develop hypotheses and insights. Mathematics, statistics or economics are preferable.
* Data Modelling experience advantageous 
* Excellent attention to detail and high standards of presentation, especially in relation to written work
* Ability to manage multiple projects to completion.
* Proactive and forward thinking
* Must work well in a team environment
* Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team
