Purpose of the role: As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you may support multiple types of businesses in the organization (sales, marketing, finance, product management, R&D, etc). The Business Intelligence Analyst reports directly to the Global Head of Sales for Digitalization Products and supports them in all business-related aspects as sparring-partner. Area of Responsibilities: Delivering outstanding business intelligence services that include self-serve data and reporting for front-line staff and executive leadership Synthesizing an array of data to drive value creation, market insight, and business intelligence for the company Establishing models and statistical techniques that enable businesses to better understand data and make good decisions Analyzing complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers Creating specifications for reports and analysis, using dashboards, based on business needs and required or available data elements Ensuring a smooth budget planning and target setting process with the sales regions together with the Global Head of Sales. Your Profile Outstanding skills are required in Excel- and PowerPoint Completed education with relevant work experience Experience in sales and/or service-oriented environment Experience in BI, analytics, or statistics Experience in working independently in international and interdisciplinary teams Good understanding of commercial framework conditions and processes Independent, goal-oriented, structured way of working The high degree of reliability, personal responsibility, trustworthiness, and discretion Good English and German language skills, both written and spoken Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills Working at Siemens Software Working at Siemens Software means flexibility - Choosing between working at home and the office at other times is the norm here.
