BI Analyst for Business Intelligence Operations

Location: Czech republic - Remote or Office based in Brno

About the role: 

A team of BI analysts with focus on reporting is looking for a team member to fill out a position of an experienced BI analyst. We collaborate with other departments, learn about their business process, and prepare dashboards/reports that help them understand their productivity, operations, finance and quality.

The candidate should have data analysis skills – the need to search for why, and be a master in data visualization with curiosity about business processes. Capability to come up with BI solutions and communication skills to explain it are a must.

Expected skill set:

• Advanced PowerBI skills
• Advanced DAX skills
• Sound SQL skills
• Understanding concept of relational databases (SQL server)
• SSRS knowledge is a bonus
• Outgoing personality
• Self-motivation, ability to work independently
• English is a must
• Communication and interpersonal skills to explain solutions
   

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage reports in PowerBI and SSRS
• Create data models following best practices
• Learn about DWH and run complex queries in SQL Server
• Communicate with clients to explain solutions, agree on possible solutions, negotiate outcomes and deadlines
• Analyze business requests, learn about processes
• Collaborate with different departments
• Identify opportunities to improve processes
• Recommend possible BI solutions ​
