Job Description

SigOpt is an AI experimentation platform that Fortune 100 companies, AI labs, and developers of all stripes use to track training runs, automate hyperparameter optimization, scale jobs, and collaborate on model development. By using this API-enabled product in their workflow, AI developers boost their productivity by 30 percent and accelerate time to tune models by 8x.As a Business Development Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the SigOpt team on key go-to-market initiatives and finding new opportunities to grow user adoption of our platform. In this role, you'll frequently interact with SigOpt leadership, business development, growth marketing, engineering, product, and customer success. With significant resources behind you, you'll have a big impact on both the size of this overall market and our share of it. Acquired by Intel but operating with autonomy, SigOpt gives you startup flexibility with tech leader opportunity. It truly is the best of both worlds.

You will: 

  • Collaborate across growth marketing, business development, product, customer success, and engineering teams to support key go-to-market initiatives and drive user adoption
  • Design and own strategic initiatives and present the output to SigOpt and Intel senior leadership, including pricing, packaging, TAM, partnerships planning, and revenue forecasting
  • Research verticals, prioritize markets, identify and tier prospects, and put together strategic account plans for engagement
  • Run campaigns with growth marketing to boost the reach and effectiveness of our product
  • Participate and present during strategic account meetings with senior AI leadership
  • Lead engagement with strategic partners to drive impact on key metrics


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualification

  • The candidate must be pursuing a MBA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Willing to work independently as well as with a team
  • Prolific at research and completing projects in a timely manner
  • Experienced in management consulting, finance, product marketing, sales, product management, or strategic account management
  • Building toward a strategic business development, product marketing, or enterprise sales role at an AI start-up
  • Knowledge of machine learning or artificial intelligence, and interested in impacting its evolution as an industry

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
