ES EMEA PMCC Power Distribution Components has an opening for a : Business Line Manager SCM PDC/ICP The Business Line SCM Manager PDC is focused on the daily execution of Supply Chain in EATON's Power Management and Control Components Division, Electrical Sector, EMEA. The role will report directly into the Divisional Supply Chain Manager, PMCC, ES EMEA and functionally into the relevant Multi-Site Operations Director. In this role, the primary focus is to ensure the divisional approach and strategy defined by PMCC leadership are executed on an operational / plant level. Progress is to be tightly measured, reported on a defined regular cadence and it is the task of the Business Line SC Manager to analyze, assess and drive corrective actions in case of deviations to the set goals, while staying withing the boundaries of strategy and policy. As one key objective, the Business Line SC Manager is responsible to ensure the defined supply plan for the month can be achieved. While not all necessary functions are under his/her control, the expectation is that the role drives the necessary actions with all functions necessary to enable business units to hit the supply plan goal. As part of this important objective, the expectation is also the full involvement into the monthly SIOP process. With the plant Supply Chain functions reporting functionally into the Business Line SC Manager, the role is further expected to drive continuous improvement actions that are in line with the overall strategy set in accordance with the Divisional Supply Chain Manager. Examples of such improvements can be on inventory, cost-savings/efficiency side as well as new tool implementations and general process changes. A key expectation is the close collaboration with the different functions in the Division/Region. Particularly the Supply Chain Coordination function, as well as the Multi-Site Operational Directors for PMCC's business units and other functions like finance, continuous improvement and ES EMEA's Supply Chain functions. The job holder is expected to demonstrate high levels of leadership that represents a divisional role and act as an ambassador for both, EATON's and the Division's values. Being able to coach junior functions in the division is an expected skillset, in order to foster Supply Chain maturity. The main function of this role: Drive the operational strategy as well daily activities and end to end functional excellence in the supply chain function on a monthly basis, supporting the monthly SIOP process Functionally lead the plant Supply Chain Management functions in close alignment to the Divisional strategy and drive the PMCC approach to bring ICP and PDC together as one with a focus on synergies Explore and map out opportunities for improvement in regards to efficiency of the operational supply chain with a focus on efficiency Develop and deploy the Divisional SCM strategy Work out opportunities for standardization within the Divisional supply chain, with a focus on bringing together ICP and PDC, and deploy validated opportunities across the Division Performance Management: assess and drive the actions that are necessary to keep the business entities on track with set High 5 and strategic and other relevant goals (DOH, OTP, SFR, FC accuracy…) on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. Handling SCM topics of urgency : assessing possible scenarios together with relevant business functions and lining out a preferable set of actions, as well as presenting the findings to higher levels of the organization and driving the actions Increase end to end resilience of the division's Supply Chain Supporting and leading strategic projects both remotely and in person as required Collaboration with the relevant ES EMEA Supply Chain-related functions (logistics, inventory, ..) Support spontaneous challenges in the Division with a solid and continuous improvement- driven problem solving approach Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: Bachelor or Master Degree in economics or similar 5-7 years of experience in a supply chain role in multi plant/divisional level with a focus on materials management and 3 years of experience leading a team in an operational environment Experience in SAP Materials Management, Forecasting and operations planning Ability to work within a matrix organisation, drive change and performance through own initiative, coaching and leadership Detail focused approach to work Presentation skills The ability to work across regions Balancing different interests influencing decisions A skilled communicator, acts as bridge between functions to create collaboration What we offer to you: Competitive compensation and benefits package Flexible working solutions Culture & Values – We are more than the products we invent and produce – the way we do business is just as important.
