Siemens Smart Infrastructure Building Products provides technology to allow buildings to efficiently manage the environment within and to ensure low energy usage as well as the highest well-being for the people in the building. We also provide fire life safety systems to protect people. 

The Challenge

Embark on your 12-month placement with us whilst taking part in our fantastic intern development programme. We will create an individual training plan to help you develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. By the end of it, you will be set up with the best knowledge and hands-on experience to equip you for your professional career in Business and Management.

This unique internship directly reports into the Managing Director of this business area. Here is a taste of what you can expect from this one of a kind experience:
  • Assisting in the preparing of reports and management presentations
  • Supporting the MD with specific business projects where you will be collating data and information from all business sections
  • Preparing presentations to working groups and our Headquarters
  • Providing general support day to day with any specific management escalations
  • Responsible for preparation and running of monthly management meetings
  • Working directly with the MD to build an efficient working environment
  • Creating the platform for improved business productivity of senior/channel management
  • Setting up processes/projects for future interns
The Candidate

We are looking for innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following:
  • Studying towards a 2:2 or above in a Business related subject
  • You think logically, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving
  • You'll be aspirational; wanting to take on a management position in your future
  • A keen interest in Business and its operations with a dynamic personality
  • You can work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change
  • IT Literate and organised
