Job Description

General Profile:

The role is a business management position to manage primarily the Metals Packaging Products (MPP) for the Packaging Business Unit.  These products include Endura Al, CZT, UBM/RDL & CuBS TSV, and charger-based packaging UBM/RDL.  Primary responsibilities of this role include driving sales and KPU to execute upon our business as well as to drive sales and business development opportunities for the Packaging Business Unit in Taiwan. In addition, the role requires providing leadership and business direction for the cross-functional teams supporting the packaging business unit in Taiwan.  Our packaging products include PVD, ECD, EMI Shielding, and Panel Products.  In this role, you will partner with our account teams to develop and drive the strategy & execution for our Korean customers and will be accountable to business performance and results in the region (M/S, GM, Rev).  This highly influential role serves as the primary interface between our sales account teams and the BU.  It is a senior leadership position to coordinate and drive strategic and tactical goals.  The role will be a primary customer-facing role and coordinator between our Account Teams, BU Product Groups, and Field Operations teams. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer relationship development and management
  • Partner with BU to develop and drive strategic direction and owns execution for multiple customers.  Shapes product Roadmaps and priorities of the BU.  Drives Sales/BU alignment.  Prepare and set tone for customer meetings.
  • Formulates, integrates, and coordinates division strategy for assigned account(s) and/or region(s) to achieve specific Market Share (%).  Owns product Single Page Strategy.
  • Understands customer roadmaps and HVPs and ensures product development priorities address HVPs. Positions division products in line with customer/competitive landscape. The key contributor to competitive analysis
  • Ensures division and operations follow through to meet purchase and config specs. Involves support organizations (spares, quality, etc.) to meet customer requirements. Drives timely CAR tool sign-off. 
  • Gathers data, conducts value pricing analysis and recommends pricing structure of products. Partners with Sales for order closure. Develops pricing strategy to introduce product enhancements to increase margin.
  • Prepares and presents complex technical and/or high-level presentations to customers.  
  • Responsible for customer experience and relationship-building during demo visits. Responsible for achieving Region level financial targets (gross margin, OpEx), book/bill commits and forecast. 
  • Manages multiple projects/ programs at the division level. Mentors junior colleagues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related disciplines (MBA Preferred)
  • 10+ years of Semiconductor Experience in BD, Sales, or Marketing
  • Demonstrates comprehensive expertise in semiconductor knowledge and especially in the area of Wafer Level Packaging
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
  • Flexible about base location, but need to support significant domestic business travel
