Microsoft Teams is the fastest growing business application in the history of Microsoft, and we are a little more than two years old and just getting started! We are the collaborative hub for Teamwork in Office 365, part of the Experiences and Devices Division at Microsoft. If you love working in an environment that moves fast, where real time collaboration and problem solving via chat messages is the norm, where breathing data is part of your air supply, and running numbers is music to your ears, and if you like to add an ???????????? or GIF to express yourself once in a while, then being the business manager for Microsoft Teams Engineering organization is the perfect fit for you.
This role will report to the Director of Business Strategy for Teams. You will work closely with the CVP of Microsoft Teams Engineering, and across the leadership team to help us manage the business while continuing our rapid growth. You will have an acute sense of organization and attention to details in all aspects of the data and information you manage. You will drive our efforts to develop the fiscal year budgets across the team and then manage and communicate both the risks and the opportunities in those budgets throughout the year. In this role you will also help us with plans to reduce the time to hire for open positions, ensuring that the recruiting process is a well-run machine, removing roadblocks, and improving the process. Actively seeking out opportunities to fine tune and redefine our processes will be core to everything you do, as well as demonstrating leadership and expertise in understanding the underlying data and information of our systems. Additionally, as we grow you will be the primary liaison with our Real Estate and Investment Group at Microsoft and handle our overall space allocation and plans for the team.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to exercise influence without direct ownership.

- Drive and continuously improve the overall execution of our business strategy, find efficiencies and help identify any unnecessary spend.
- Help support cross-org projects and initiatives.
